I am mainly interested in free/libre software, free software movement, and the GNU system, (I don't support "open-source"). And I'm commited to use /only/ free software. I also do programming as a hobby but I'm still at learning stage. I know basic syntax of python and C, but I wanted to learn more about structuring and interpretation of programs, so I'm learing those things now, along with learing Scheme(a dialect of Lisp) programming language.
I also try to make people aware of free software, but it's mostly limited to friends, family members and relatives till now (And most of the time they just ignore me, but I'll keep doing that) Even in fedi I generally post about those things.
I have been using GNU/Linux for a year now. I have installed Trisquel, main line Arch and currently I run Parabola (with openRC init) [https://parabola.nu] distribution. So I have little knowledge of how to install/maintain GNU/Linux system, if proper documentation is made available to me.
I prefer to use the CLI. I think I know basic usage of all the Unix like utilities.
I have exams within two weeks, so after that I'll be able to participate more actively.
Finally, I am really pleased to know the existance of free software community in India. And I see many Indians in the fedi who use/connected with free software (I have also seen you interacting in fedi).
