boot again through the cd in rescue mode. by typing
in "linux rescue" and it shall drop you to a
single
user shell. at the prompt type in "chroot
/dev/hdax"
where x is the parttion on which linux
resides.
once you change root to linux partiton, just run
the lilo
command again by typing "lilo" at the bash
prompt.
and you shall have the prompt from next
reboot.
