I have recently upgraded my linux system from 7.1 to 7.3

However my modem is not working.

I have an internal modem of Motorola sm56.

Tried to install the rpm driver sm56_5.1_i386.

While connecting it gives the message " Cannot open /dev/modem "

Plz help to locate the problem.
