Does anyone out here know of any good progress been done on getting the
Firefox OS to run on a Raspberry Pi?
Googling around showed projects which are mostly half baked.

lol why would you want that ? Especially when there are quite stable
distro's running as media centre using XBMC and a full fledged debian
derrivative called Raspbian.
I could run firefox on raspbian and install all the firefox os apps
and still get the same experience if thats what you are looking for ?

I believe it's much better designed for a user-centric scenario than
those other stable distro's you're hinting at.
