Hi Arun, Have you heard of "Debian Edu / Skolelinux"? I realise that FSFI has been active in IT@School and recently with teachers in Kerala. I think that it might be worthwile to evaluate it, and maybe we could work with them. They seem to be well funded, and more importantly have a solid in-road into their own school system (and hence I think community and government support). Is this something that interests you or FSFI? -Krishna --- Petter Reinholdtsen pere@hungry.com wrote: Subject: Bug#306746: Package: installation-reports Date: Fri, 29 Apr 2005 10:06:32 +0200 From: Petter Reinholdtsen pere@hungry.com To: 306746-submitter@bugs.debian.org
[Krishna Pagadala] BTW I want to donate to Debian, do you know of (and would yourecommend) any other Free Software organisation/project that is more in need of funds?
I assume you already found URL:http://www.debian.org/donations. A few other organisations capable of spending the funds wisely are FFII, currently fighting software patents in Europe, and FSF, still spreading the word on free software. And of course there is Debian-edu and its foundation SLX Debian Labs, where I'm deeply involved. Donation procedures are not documented, but money are always well received. I'm sure there are others too, but these were the first that came to my mind.

The great moral question of the twenty-first century is: If all knowledge, all culture, all art, all useful information, can be costlessly given to everyone at the same price that it is given to anyone -- if everyone can have everything, everywhere, all the time, why is it ever moral to exclude anyone from anything? -Eben Moglen
