Morning Friends,
This morning after regular package update suddenly the mplayer started complaining with this error.
mplayer: relocation error: /usr/lib/libavcodec-cvs.so: undefined symbol: faacDecOpen
This is seems to be a very debian specific mplayer problem, did any one face this error before, can help me solve this problem.

Was able to fix the problem,The issue seems to be that the rare wares libfaad2 has some issues with Christan Marillat debian mplayer packages.
So I comment out the rare wares deb entry in sources.list.And did a reinstall of libfaad2.
apt-get install --reinstall libfaad2-0=2.0.0-0.5
Now my mplayer is working fine.Perhaps if you better method of dealing with this problem do let me know.
