Hi,
I am using Gnome and I use the Keyboard Preferences applet to change the keyboard layout. I am able to type the alphabets along with diacritics. But how do I type the conjuct consonants? For example how do I type the 'ನ್ನ' in the text 'ಕನ್ನಡ'? What key combinations can I use to get it?
Thanks Avinash.

Figured it out from my own mail. Mutt (rather gnome-terminal) is unable to display the conjuct consonants correctly. It unpacks the symbols which reveal the key strokes invloved.
So I type the sequence 'ನ ್ ನ' to get 'ನ್ನ'! ಭಲೆ!
