Are there any plans to go and meet the Vice Chancellor of the VTU in person in Belgaum to submit the petition ?
If this plan is after June 22nd you can count me in as one of the volunteers willing to accompany the person taking the petition to Belgaum.
I am an ex student of Kuvempu University Karnataka and i did my Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering as the last batch of Kuvempu University before all the colleges under it were merged with the VTU, baring the UBDTE Govt College of Engineering Davengere.
Also please consider meeting the Vice Chancellor of Kuvempu University, Prof. K.Chidananda Gowda.

He is a fine gentleman and if we can approach him with the Free Software idea he will be able to implement it in the UBDTE Govt College of Engineering Davengere ( the only college in the whole of Karnataka that has not merged with the VTU ).
