Hello all,
I'm currently using Intrepid Ibex (Ubuntu 8.10) on my laptop, and my emails are on Thunderbird (version 2.0). Can someone please tell me how I can take a back up of Thunderbird? I have two email accounts set up on it.
Thanks in advance. Raghu

Close Thunderbird and run the command
tar -czvf backup.tar.gz ~/.thunderbird
