Hi, I am working for a non profit organization in US. Recently we received a grant of $10K to open a computer lab in a school in Blore. I presented the attached proposal. Please send comments regarding it and I will correct it.
After a lengthy discussion the problem boiled down to support. I could not find any local company/person in Blore which can support it. I found a sw vendor from Kannur that had done this. (http://s2s2net.netfirms.com/index.html) But every one was unsure how out of station support would work.
Does anyone know of any person that can provide support for LTSP on a need basis. I could then propose that we buy the hw from reputed vendor with warranty and be left only with support for LTSP from private individual on a per need basis. Can this be done remotely ? Does the plan sound feasible ?
