Hi Praveen,
Sorry couldn't find your comments before as it was quite a long post.
2006/2/25, Abhas Abhinav abhas@deeproot.co.in:
To start with, we will have another meet at BMSCE
to discuss and
understand the GPLv2. I volunteered to make a
presentation on this.
(Don't know if I'm biting off more than I could
chew, but lets see...)
And then we decided that we will discuss about the
license to ensure
that all of us understand it very well.
If we get a green signal from BMSCE then we can fix it this Saturaday or Sunday. Nirmal what do you think?
I had spoken to Nirmal before he left for hyderabad he would be back in couple of days. I'll try to pass this information to him over phone.
This event will a more of a team-building event. The idea is to ensure
that we all know and understand each other enough
to be able to work
together for organising the GPLv3 conference.
Yup, I agree. We need to ub=nderstand each other and have a srong team.
It seems that the videos of GPLv3 MIT event are online, if possible we can all watch them either at BMS college event this week or at any other GNU(s) Grazing gathering.
- Of course, I can't miss out mentioning the coffee
we had at Koshy's.
And the fun that it was sitting in Cubbon Park to
have our discussion...
I think we can make Cubbon Part our regular
meeting place. Not the same
rock... maybe a different one every time.
Hmm.. Last time there was a lady wearing a Microsoft T-shirt with an MSDN logo watching us :-) ( I saw someone mentioning about it)
Das the smart chap mentioned this anomaly to me after we left the park. ho how I wish that I had the chance of catching her spying on us. Perhaps we could have had a nice slap-stick style comedy show hosted by your official jester arky ;o)
- We need a discussion list of some sort. Any
suggestions? How about a
gnu.org.in mailing list? Currently, everyone is
subscribed to the
FSUG-Bangalore mailing list and we can continue
our discussion here.
Yeah, It would be great to have a gnu.org.in mailing list. fsug-bangalore@gnu.org.in looks cool and we need to move the archives too.
This work will certainly gonna take some time as we have to send in the request of FSFI.Don't hold your breath. Meanwhile lets use the existing facilities.
Cheers
