You probably did a find all '@' and replace with '_at_'. (where _ is a <space> )

Not at all! Mandrake is developed by MandrakeSoft, France.
We use Debian for all our work: general use, development, serving, hosting. However, we did distribute some Mandrake CDs along with DeveloperIQ two years back.

Ah! yes. I asked cause I remember seeing the names DeepRoot and DeveloperIQ when I installed Mandrake 8.1 in our college lab.
