Hi all,
Finally, although a bit late, the groupware is up and running. Check it out at http://www.thefreespeech.org/collaborate/groupware. Since phpGroupware was way too large to fit (and without ssh access, it becomes all the more difficult), I've used PHProjekt (www.phprojekt.org), which according to me, is functionally competent, while taking up very little space in comparison.
Initially, you may use the login/password of test/test (just to get a hang of it). Then we could either write a program that automatically creates logins, or let someone administer the whole process.
Also, I've created two mailing lists, announce(a)thefreespeech.org and linuxers(a)thefreespeech.org. I guess we are now all set to implement the PRC.
Get going guys

I did it mainly because I used to frequently update kernels... it
doesn't make too much sense to write the bootsector somewhere else, dd
it to a file, copy it to the windoze partition etc. every time.
If you do it only once, during installation, then of course it amounts
to the same thing, and my method is probably more more roundabout.
Have 2 HDDs:
Master: 4 Gb [hda]
Slave: 32 Gb [hdb] (is 40 Gb, but my BIOS treats it as 32 Gb)
Windows C: on hda. It has 2 more windows partitions.
For hdb the partitions are as follows:
hdb1 - Windows
hdb2:
hdb5, hdb6.... <10 partitions>. All Windows.
hdb3 - Linux native, mount point / - 10Gb
hdb4 - Linux swap - 200 Mb
It goes through the entire installation process, and asks me to
reboot. But then directly boots into Windows. Tried Lilo & Grub. I
explicitly asked to overwrite MBR during installation.
Haven't tried with boot disk. Damn those floppies. All turned up
with bad sectors :)
Tried RH Linux 7.2 & 5.0.
Any way out?
Warm regards,
Nikhil.
does any 1 know where are the list of all the compiled modules stored??
that is i would like to know all the modules and kernel modules that have been loaded or been made moduler?

I built a desktop using the Intel D850MV motherboard with a Pentium
4/1.60 GHz CPU and 256MB RDRAM (4 x 64MB/PC600 RIMM cards). The desktop
board came with BIOS version P05 (MV85010A.86A.0011.P05.0111141737)
preinstalled.
I installed two Seagate ST340810A 40-GB hard drives. The primary master
drive had a Windows 95 (LBA) partition for Windows Me, and the primary
slave drive was partitioned into 10GB EXT3 for Linux and 30GB for
Windows Me. The bootloader was GRUB 0.91, for switching between a RedHat
7.3 boot and a Windows Me boot.
Everything (RedHat 7.3 and Windows Me)worked perfectly.
