HBCSE is running a daily online discourse on electronics. The goal is to
learn electronics with a personal context.
Context is created when participants bring in a project or gadget of
interest to them and discuss various aspects of interest.
Discussion spans the entire spectrum from elementary to advanced. So far we
have covered small linear and switching power supplies, automated
disinfectant dispenser, simple robot, preliminary design of a pulse
oximeter, automating a pump connected to a washing machine, housing society
water distribution - which is of interest given deficient rains in mumbai
this year and a water cut of 20% already started today.
There is no agenda or order to the discussions, but inevitably lead to a
indepth and practically functional capability to build one's gadget . All
questions are welcome, there being no question too simple or foolish to ask
and discuss.
There is no prerequisite to joining the discussion. We use lush projects
online simulator given the constraints imposed by lockdowns. However having
electronic components, multimeter, solder iron and basic tools will enable
you to build gadgets.
Timing 1530 to 1700 Monday to Saturday. Usually discussions spill over to
1730.
