Hi Guys This is what HP has to say about scanning software for one of their Scanners we happened to buy a few years back. :-( Anyone managed to find another option? I would like to switch to ICE Window manager.. I have downloaded the binaries and installed them.. My system is RHL 9.0. I would like to load ICE WM on startup. I use Graphical login manager. How do I go about in preparing the script and where should I place that? thanks.. -AmaR Shah.

stat64_t , off64_t problem

i am getting errors when i compile my program. it says stat64_t not declared. similar for off64_t and lseek64_t I have included both <sys/types.h> <sys/stat.h> and other headers. earlier i had a problem for uint64_t but i resolved it by including <stdint.h> do i need to include any other header files... or do anythig else.. pls help thankx. Linux as a router

Hi, I want to configure a Linux system as a router (u can say IP Forwarding). This system can be used to connect two different IP Address schemes & will work as a router. I've tried it with RedHat 8 & 9 also but no success. I've checked that service iptable is also not running. I've also enabled IP_FORWARD with echo "1" > /proc/sys/net/ipv4/ip_forward. I'm not able to ping or telnet to other side network. Any help is greatly appreciated. Amol
