>tally ckearky says it is not designed to work in win. I too had a problem runing tally 6.3 in wine but try a lower version 5.4 version it works on wine. As far as printing problem goes I just adjusted the margins and it worked. Try it Hope it works. Derwyn

Dear Linuxers, Due to my constant fooling arnd with GRUB and LILO and the MBR, i now face a problem. I cannot boot into WINDOWS: When I booted my machine I got two options DOS and Linux, when i select Linux it boots fine, when i select DOS i get an error Disk write error Pls press any key to reboot These are the things that I tried : 1. I erased the MBR and then did a lilo -v in rescue mode. No luck although. 2. Tried installing grub instead of lilo grub-install /dev/hda No luck 3. I erased the MBR and then re-installed WINDOWS in the same folder C:\WINNT I'am using windows2k professional. November GLUG meet

The theme for the next GLUG meet is "Free/Open Source Community Software." There is a tremendous amount of innovation that is happening in the area of community software with sites like Ryze, Linked In, Orkut etc growing rapidly in popularity. Blogs are another form of community software that have become very popular in recent times. One of the speakers at the upcoming GLUG meet is Veer Bothra who manages Blogstreet.com. Amish, do you want to talk about Mono at this meeting? Also, many of us will be away from Mumbai on the second Sunday of November (myself included) because of the long weekend for Diwali. I therefore suggest that the next GLUG meet be held on 21st November 2004 between 3PM-5PM. The venue for the same will be Netcore's office [1] in Lower Parel. Feedback, suggestions, speakers welcome!
