Which scanner works well on FLOSS?

Could someone please help me in finding a low or medium-end scanner that works well with GNU/Linux? Also, what would be approx cost in Mumbai. Need help on configuring Domino Server6.5 on RHL9.0

Hello ppl, can any1 pls. guide me on config. of Domino Server 6= .5 on RHL9.0 I have successfully installed it. But, whenever I issue = the command : [abc@domlin notesdata]$ /opt/lotus/bin/server I get the following error, ./java -ss512k -Xoss5M= -cp jhall.jar:cfgdomserver.jar:Notes.jar lotus.domino.setup.WizardManagerD= omino -data /local/notesdata /opt/lotus/notes/latest/linux/serversetu= p: line 124: 1626 Segmentation fault. line 124 reads as follows: = ./java -ss512k -Xoss5M -cp "jhall.jar:cfgdomserver.jar:Notes.jar&qu= ot; lotus.domino.setup.WizardManagerDomino $datapath $1 $2 $3 $4 $5 $6 $7 $= 8 $9 And it crashes ! although I have installed java, j2= re-1_4_2_04-linux-i586.bin and accordingly exported the path. FTP and Ipchains

Hi Gurus, I am using Red Hat Linux 7.0 which acts as an proxy server(Transparent Squid), and firewall server(Ipchains). I use dial-up connection. In doing these seminars, we incur some costs and so far the group members have been bearing this personally. We have this idea of charging the seminar members some nominal entry fee, somewhere in the range of 20 to 50 rupees. In these seminars, we'd also be distributing copies of knoppix or similar stuff. Which brings us to the point in question. During one of our discussions, a question came up as to whether we, a bunch of enthusiasts, were authorised to collect money. We do NOT want to run into problems later on with, say, the income tax authorities or their kin. What is normally done under such circumstances? Do we have to register our group with some authority in order to collect money? What do other LUG's do? I am sure there are precedents to this problem. Please advise. Hello Everybody, (* I am new to oracle *) I have installed oracle 9.0.1 on RedHat 7.3. And now if i do now "dbstart" gives me following error "error in identifying controlfile, check alert log for more info" i checked lof and got the following lines there PMON started with pid=2 DBW0 started with pid=3 LGWR started with pid=4 CKPT started with pid=5 SMON started with pid=6 RECO started with pid=7 Mon Apr 5 14:56:40 2004 ALTER DATABASE MOUNT Mon Apr 5 14:56:40 2004 ORA-00202: controlfile: 'ora_control1' ORA-27037: unable to obtain file status Linux Error: 2: No such file or directory Additional information: 3 Mon Apr 5 14:56:43 2004 ORA-205 signalled during: ALTER DATABASE MOUNT... Please suggest me something.
