hylafax, gfax, tkhylafax, movifax. Hylafax was common and in use 4 yrs
ago. U can easily build a mail to fax gateway-relay, saving your
multilocation client several thousand on STD and even more on ISD.
<Glorification on> btw i used to design fax machines and built several
prototypes, including a fax relay network and a telex-fax gateway in
the days when dialing several places in India (particularly Delhi,
Gauhati) required a steady supply of spare index fingers.

Hi All,
I have a dual boot machine winXP Sp2 and RHEL v3 using Grub loader, now the problem is, sitting on Linux I cant access the three drives in windows (C-NTFS/D-FAT32/E-FAT32) where the Master boot record is in the C-ntfs drive.
Also the INtel m/b is 865gev 2.8Ghz and a single sata HD.
Also the linux is unable to recongnize the m/b sound card.
PLz provide some solution for this.
Cheers,
Amit.
Hi,
One of my friends wants to go in for a new system. He is keen on
dualbooting with Linux and Windows. He is going in for an AMD64 3000+
system. He asked me to recommend a good compatible motherboard with
moderate to high performance.
I am a complete newbie to AMD systems. I have a sempron system but I am
clueless about which motherboards are available for AMD64 let alone the
good ones compatible with Linux...
Anyone with an AMD64 system please respond.
PS.: I heard that AMD64 is …
[View More]based on different cores. Which core should
he get? Also what should be the operating frequency of the DDR RAM he
buys? 333MHz or 400MHz or should he go in for a DDR2? I know that the
CPUs FSB and the RAM's OF should be in sync for optimum performance.
What is it for an AMD64 system?

You need to use the samba client. The NTFS module is irrelevant in
this case. The remote windows partition needs to be shared and then
you can do something like:
smbmount //winmachine/share /localdir -o username=amit,password=xyz
