Very true. I can vouch for that since I am an engineering undergraduate too.

Then you got to curse a hell lot of universities too. :D
Well I am not even in Mumbai, not even within a 1000 km radius of the
city. However I will be coming to Bombay this summer. Could we have a
meet sometime in June/July regarding this. I am very interested to
discover what all can be achieved with my notebook's wireless LAN card
(Intel Pro 2200).

Hello All,
Since some days I have been going through various docs and sample
.muttrcs on the net on how to configure mutt. I got the overall pictire
and how set commands are used to set parameters in .muttrc . However it
would be great if I could get a sample muttrc file for the following
purpose, without any fancy pgp or macro stuff. I plan to use it as a
stand alone application to send and receive our group messages using my
yahoo pop/smtp server.
Regards,
Rony.

Quite Interesting. Infact, I was a bit surprised, I
thought physics had more of …
[View More]electronics rather than
Software! And wow!, more Physics graduates might now
probably understand why they should be using GNU/LINUX

Umm..Generally, I am against a comparison, but I would
only encourage using GNU/Linux for different purposes.

Is he using Wipro KWin on Windows for practising Linux
commands?..
>I think that's good news? What do the luggers think?
This is good. BSc (Comp. Sci.) has something about
GNU/Linux, as I had posted in the original thread, but
they don't seem to be savvy for GNU/Linux in my
COLLEGE.

Aah..probably MS-CIT also teaches how to use MS
Office, as it is more common in many offices, rather
than Open Office Org

Oh wow! This is amazing!..But would they be using it
on Windows?....
Probably, they might consider migrating to GNU/Linux
later..sometime..

Right, I think this qualifies as mass-miscommunication
of all readers of that mag. It just sent me to sel-questioning mode.

Hey glad that you brought this up.. Just watched …
[View More]Revolution OS this weekend
+ then I bought this Digit copy
The fast track guide says pg 16. top -
"Free software need not be open source"
Is this true? I thought free = free to improve and distrib...
Since this is from Digit, I don't take it on face value.
Also on the business model (can of worms alert), Stallman n co say
that the money lies in providing support to OSS. The movie showed
that despite initial hoopla, VA Linux went down under due to mounting
losses. Anyone know of a slightly more lived success story? This is
an aspect that bothers me at times.
