Rony had advised me to try editing the printer selector in each application. I tried doing this with Mozilla, but cannot see the right way to edit the module using a line editor. Siddhesh also asked whether I was setting up OpenOffice for the printer, but I haven't done this, nor can I see how it is done. The OpenOffice installation was done long before the printer arrived. In case this is a very small fix, please mail me separately to avoid list noise, or point me to a faq where this is fully explained. Vickram

I was wondering how to extract data from the body of a HTTP 200 ok Header using PHP. What I am trying to do is to write a light weight GUI that connects to google Calendar[www.google.com/calendar] ! hi, am looking for a mono laser printer (and/or multifunctional device) where the primary criteria is economy in running cost. my guess is that those toners that can be refilled with ease (as opposed to buying new cartridge each time) drastically brings down the cost. is that correct? if so then what are the printers that allow for this? Today's economic times(pg 13) has an interbiew with some microsoft guy about the companies outlook to open source. It seems he didn't know what he was talking about.
