revovering an NTFS Partition

Ahh Freeky , Prevously I had /dev/hda1 and /dev/hda2 both as NTFS File system . hda1 was Primary and I think hda2 was Primary file system too . I Formatted hda1 to ext3 and now hda2 which was untouched is showing all free space . Is there anyway i can recover hdb2 . Cheers, Francis

Linux file recovery.

Hello All, I want to know some good utility for recovering a deleted ext3 partition's files and folders. The partition is not yet overwritten. I googled and tried `r-linux' in windows as well as `recover' in linux but both these softwares simply dump a long list of blank files that represent inodes. GDB Help

Hi, I 'm working on Debuggers, basically GDB ... need to change it for a native chipset. I need to know 1. the "chain of functions" GDB goes through when given the command on the Command-Line. 2. Also the "chain of commands" GDB goes through when given commands like break, step etc. I 'm reading GDB Internals ... but its not helping me much in this regard. Pleas Help. -- wrr

Adding a Mirror to existing server

Hi All, I have a Qmail Server running in an Linux RH box since last 4 years. what I need to do is that to add a mirror to the existing hdd to make it redundant as the life of existing hdd may be over.(Although its working properly ) but I don't want to down the server as it is running online and is critical for my client. Ideally this should come with the cell phone. But what with Bluetooth being subjective to virus attacks, an addon can be designed which does this task. Also, with RF enabled microcontrollers available cheaply, one can do these developments as standalone devices. Another application is giving them out at places like Prince of Wales Musuem instead of the casette players. Each location identified with numbers can emit a low power rf. The player with the tourist shall know which id is this and hence what information to play out. The RF/processing cost is not major hurdle if the amout of processing required is small and the distances are within a few hundred metres, the data rates not exceeding a few kbps.
