OT: regarding sound card of Sun Fire V210 server OT

Hello , We purchased a Sun Solaris Server - Sun Fire V210 from Nortel along with a Nortel product - Media Processing Server 500 We need to install a Sound Card on Sun Fire V210 Server I checked the Hardware Compatibility List (HCL) for Sun Fire V210 Server and found that the following Models of Sound Cards will be suitable for our Server. 1. Sound Blaster MP3+ by Creative Technologies 2. Sound Blaster Live 24 bit External by Creative Technologies 3. Sound Blaster 128 PCI by Creative Technologies Please let me know if any of the above mentioned Sound Cards are available at any vendor. [OT] Sify Port 22 blocked?

Hi, Does anybody notice that? Since last few hours, I am unable to ssh, svn+ssh to any servers I would like to. I am getting timeouts from each of the servers. I called the sify helpline, which now even has a "Press 2 for technical support". The dude asked me to click on the trayicon of sifybb thingie. When I told him that I am using Linux, he kept me on hold and had a conference, I think. Another dude spoke to me after that and asked me - if ssh was a program or something? After some more discussion I was promised that everything will be ok in next 1 hour. So I am waiting. I am wondering if somebody with sifybb in Mumbai/New Mumbai can check if port 22 is blocked or is it my figment of imagination? Thanks. Cheers! sound working spasmodically

hi, i am trying to use krec to record sounds. Problem is that sometimes the mic works and at other times it doesnt. Last night it was working, I didnt switch off the machine, but in the morning it refused to work. It is an onboard card - headphones work all the time.
