wifi card configuration help needed....

hey guys, I am trying to configure an atheros AR5007EG wifi card on fc8 with kernel version 2.6.25.11-60.fc8 i install it using yum install madwifi* it got install properly without any errors... but when i do ifconfig -a it doesnt show me any wifi interface i did modprobe ath_pci its shows me modules installed ... so i went through madwifi how-to ...there they have mention steps in to create interface but those steps dont work here is what i get:- # wlanconfig ath0 create … [View More]

Hi All, Around 2-3 Years back I handed over a "EduMorphix" CD to a kid. Recently I was surprised to find her using it even till date. I noticed that most of the applications on it are quite old compared with the versions that my daughter plays with. I want to give her a Live-CD with updated software since I cannot install anything on her dad's machine. Unfortunately EduMorphix does not exists anymore.
