True. Talking to them for the same problem again and again is more painful then spending a day without internet.

But there was no alternative available in the market. There is BSNL but they do not cover Delhi. MTNL is not providing data connections; only some value added services over 3G. I am regreting the decision and again.

Hi everybody, I was introduced by Anurag, after finding out his mail in the open forum while surfing the Net to set my problem. hi, I have updated avsap to run on the wxPython 2.8.9.1. It is available here: svn co https://svn.nrcfosshelpline.in/public/helpline/branches/avsap avsap for those who do not know the history of avsap, it was used in production for several years by some clients of mine, was first released in perl and then later ported to python. Hi Folks, Am building a list of Applications to be presented as OSAlt (Open Source Alternatives) to frequently used commercial applications. Some of my accountant friends asked me one single question, and am finding answer for it: "Do you have anything for Tally that will work on Linux?" Sorry, openerp / tinyerp does not come up as anternate to tally. Tally is a simple accounting software not constrained by erp norms like data authenticity, audit trails, interlocking controls and even data integrety. Openerp is a much more complex software and not a substitute for tally. In the normal sense, an erp is mot an accounting software. Its much more.
