SSH in background

Hi Can anyone help me on ssh .. i want a script to run ssh when system restart/reboot but it should run in back ground. i dnt want any terminal. i just want generate port via ssh. For log in i will use ssh keys. thanks Sameed

hey i am try to run this command gksu -u root "echo 'nameserver 8.8.8.8' >> /etc/resolv.conf" but this is not working , can anybody look into it PS: i know su -c can work but i do not want that
