Some whacky behaviour very typical do Dan Bernstein ... the guy with "attitude". By far, qmail is pretty well behaved ... you should check out packages like daemontools, that create directories named /package, /service and /command!
also what bout the MUA's supporting qmail for POP mail access. which ones support qmail? what bout outlook and netscape?
MUA support for a particular POP-server is irrelevant, as long as both talk POP.
