Are you buying it in India or getting it from US?
A quick check on Dell's US website shows that only Vostro, Latitude models are available with FreeDOS/Linux. In India, I believe you can get the Vostro line with Ubuntu and Inspirons (3rd party retailers) with FreeDOS.
No such offer on the XPS line to the best of my knowledge.
