A distro is a LOT more than just a source and/or binary download link. It's a testament to the spirit of FOSS which the community stands for.
Openlx has only a ISO download - there is no mention anywhere of any offer of source code, so it is not GPL software and the mention of GPL should be removed as that is a misrepresentation. And if it is based on some other GPL'd distro, then it is also guilty of GPL violation.
nice FUD there..
GPL doesn't mention that the source be freely available as a *download*.. however it *must* be provided on request / demand and you *CAN* charge a reasonable amount for media/shipping if you cannot host the source. If the GPL license is included with a distro (binary), then you *can* ask the distributer for the source and he/she ought to oblige.
From the fine gnu general public license: You may charge a fee for the physical act of transferring a copy, and you may at your option offer warranty protection in exchange for a fee.
