I think you can fix your problem by installing LILO or Grub on some partition rather than the MBR and making that the active partition. for example if your HDD is /dev/hda and you have Windoze on /dev/hda1 and Linux on /dev/hda2, put Grub on /dev/hda2 and DDO on /dev/hda (the
