++1, Whatever it is, whom ever it is, IMHO their public life should not be a matter of discussion, until and unless the same has some effect on the subjects of our concern. Surely, a developer being sent to jail or sentences will affect the project, but the reaction should be rather on how the project is taken further in the future than about the corresponding developer.
