From: "Kinjal Sonpal" kinjalsonpal@softhome.net However after installing Linux, Win98 shows 3 partitions as c,d and e where e: shows the contents of what previously belonged to d: and now the d: show me an error message of "Invalid media reading drive d "
I too noticed a similar thing. Out of my 20GB Hdd, my first partition of 2gb is for win98, subsequently i installed linux with 250 mb for /boot, 250 mb for swap 3 GB for /root. Balance space was put in a seperate partition created in linux under fat16 which was subsequently formatted from win98. However, from win98 that i could see a new partion D: which gave me device not ready while my 13 GB space was under E: Is is normal ?
