It would be a good idea to look up the device ID in switched mode either through Device Manager on Wibdows or on the internet.
Copy the block that refers to your device to a text file and replace usb_modeswitch.conf with it. Retry the procedure thereafter. You could also update your version of usb-modeswitch and usb_modeswitch-data.
