Singh said, “The cameras would help not only for resolving traffic-related issues, but also during possible riots or terrorist attacks. For example, if such cameras had been installed during the 26/11 attacks, they would have been able to track the movements of the terrorists who were moving throughout the city. The technology planned is so superior that at the click of a button, cameras would zoom in and focus on any part of the city or any vehicle.”
"Throughout"? 3Km by 1Km stretch. Oh sorry, THAT stretch is the city. The rest are distant suburbs. Should help them better in planning the next encounter. Britian which has more cameras per citizen than any other country, cant prevent the murder of innocent 67 year old, from a bunch of ragamuffins, never mind well trained terrorists.
Another scam. The tech touted is run of the mill crap. But by coating it with "lot of studies", superior technology, click of a button etc, the vendor will charge em 10 times more.
