I am looking for a web browser based project management software that has PERT/CPM charting feature (like in M$ Project).
Apps. like ProjPier, PHPProjekt have Gantt charts.

We have started using this one recently. So far experience has been pretty good. The only drawback, considering your requirement, is that it can export MS Project 2007 files (XML exported).
This is OK if it can import/export MS Proj. format. Are you saying it can only export in MS Proj. 2007 format? Can you please confirm if openproj (www.openproj.org) can open the exported file? openproj has the PERT/CPM feature.
Thanks.

OpenProj was designed as a MS Project alternative. here is the link
It provides Gantt Charts, Network Diagrams (PERT Charts), WBS and RBS charts, Earned Value costing and more.
The direct link to download the deb file is

Hope it helps, Regards,
Sameep p.s. I have opened a MS Project file with OpenProj
