hi ashok,
glug will be more than happy to conduct a workshop.
Thanks.
it will be nice if u can get some details like the type and experience of the audiance ... the topics that the students / audiance wish to be covered and when is it most likely to be scheduled.
SAKEC is an engineering college. It has 3 engg. streams
- Construction.
- Electronics.
- Information Technology or Computers (I am not
sure ;) )
Regarding the topics that need to be covered, I guess the GLUG is in a much better position to decide on the topics based on experience of past workshops. The workshop can be scheduled anytime starting next week based on availability of speakers etc.
it is best to have it on weekends so that there is little problem for speakers to manage their time
We can definitely arrange for the seminar on weekends. No problems!
most workshops for students are spread over 2 days
and
laid out usually like:
- intro to free s/w paradigm and its philosphy ...
- Installation
[snip] I guess the topics that you have mentioned cover almost everything that is necessary. Harsh, please suggest how can we go ahead with this. I can guarantee full cooperation from the college management.
The college will be able to provide OHPs etc for the workshop. Let's chalk out a concrete plan! Thanks once again.
Cheers, Ashok
