Our clients, SaiTech Ventures Pvt Ltd (now being renamed Digital Bliss Pvt Ltd) based at Saki Naka, Mumbai is a subsidiary of an American Software Solutions and Services company. Recently, they have started using more or open source softwares, both for inhouse use and for solutions for thier clients. They now need PHP developers to work for them, primarily in maintenance and customisation of open source software like CKERP, WebERP, EGroupware, Drupal, Urchin, OSCommerce. Many of these customisation involves developing new reports or changes in the modules to suite business requirement in India and USA markets. (Before any of you think of flaming me, the new reports and changes are being submitted back to the authors of the software to consider in the next version).
The company is constantly installing and evaluating open source software to offer as solutions to their clients. In addition, the company wishes to move all new websites and web-solutions they develop to PHP instead of asp / asp.net platform. The company has already installed its own Linux Server in their US DataCenter to host these software. The corporate mailing system (covering over 40 domains of STV and its clients) has been moved to open source.
The company is looking for software developers with good knowledge in PHP and MySQL & PostgreSQL. Knowledge of additonal languages like pythone and perl will be added advantages. Good Knowledge of Linux is a must. Ability to experiment with new software and find solutions will be an important attribute for the right candidate.
We are also looking for freelance PHP developers and small PHP development firms who want to work with the company on regular basis for projects and assignments.
