Though not related to this topic, those who want to use mobile email applications but do not want to spend on monthly rentals can download a java based application for gmail from m.google.com/mail on their latest mobiles and use it just like an email client. It uses normal browsing accounts so there is no special rental for pop/smtp required. Gmail's web interface can be configured to receive mails from other pop accounts too. All these will then come to your mobile.
