Hello,
The boot-up menu is shown and when I select the first item; Debian GNU/Linux, with Linux 3.2.0-4-amd64, the screen just blanks out.
There are no boot messages, nothing.
The num-lock indicator lights up and then goes out.
After waiting a while, I tried the caps-lock key, it's responsive by way of the indicator going on and off.
Try this: Edit the kernel boot line (on the GRUB boot menu, press the letter "e", move the cursor down to the kernel / vmlinuz line) and add this one word at the end of the line: nomodeset . Then, follow the on-screen instructions to continue the boot process.
Hope this helps!
Best Regards, Rigved
