This is really a cool idea, I am also planning to get working on projects only after the exams, I guess everyone is going to be busy till then. I will get back in touch with all of you for this when the Engg exams get over. How about elzm (I forgot the exact spelling if it - The mail list writtten by Dan Berkenstine, Qmail author). Which language is that impolimented in.
I'd like to help for this idea, but as I suspect Mailman is in Python it'll take a bit of time to get used to it and I'll do it after my exams, something like after Jan 15. imho there is no point in writing something new, it may not be as well tested or known, just modify some already existing and working software (Mailman) to do what we need :-)
