I got PXE bootrom cards and instead of using etherboot images directly on the card I installed etherboot images on the DHCP server (DHCP Server 3) which works beautifully though boot time is little bit longer.
Hi Krishna,
Thanks for responding...
With the latest LTSP 3.0 kernel, there appeared to be PXE boot capability which by passes Etherboot stage or something and that works great. I just downloaded the latest version of PXE flash DOS utility from the Intel Website and it worked on the Intel card that previously had a flashrom on it....
However, I think that it required both, the motherboad BIOS to support network card booting? Or I may be mistaken.
The thing is that I have a lot of computers that may not support booting from network cards... or I'm probably mistaken.. I'll check it out with the Intel Card that I have and see if it boots from any type of motherboard...
Let me know how many cards you want and I'll try and get them for you.
