I figure that shouldnt be a problem and get gpm up and running and use /dev/psaux and then I do a startx. Then, when I move the mouse around, the pointer initially goes haywire, and then come to a complete standstill at the centre of the screen. My mouse is a PS/2 type. Any
Wrong protocol. Check in XF86Config for what your mouse is set as.
