For the OP - if there is a straight forward way to delete partitions in Win98, use that to delete your F:\ such as fdisk from a DOS prompt or some equivalent GUI method. Deleting from the installer will require some extra effort on your part. If this is the only partition of size 11GB, it will be easy for you to recognise it.
There's no simple way to figure out the mapping from drive-letter to partition number from the installer. You'll need to understand how to mount partitions in the initial stages of the installer, how does the partition numbering in Linux work, etc.
