Well we have HCL machines at our lab. High end AMD64 X2 CPUs. Not sure the brand of the motherboard, it doesn't have drivers. We struggled to get DRI to work properly. As opposed to this my experience with every single Intel motherboard ( lowend or highend ) has been that it has worked out of the box except the last Intel board DG965RYCK. The fix for which was rolled out pretty quickly.
