History has a habit of repeating itself. Who knows what is going to happen tomorrow any way !!!.
^^^^^^^^^ To put it more succinctly, history doesn't have a habit of repeating. History repeats because people don't study history.
And to all the nay-sayers that viruses in Windows exist only because it is popular, read the fine print. Unix-like operating systems have been around for decades now. The unix environment and architecture is much older that Windoze offers. So theoretically, there should be more virii and exploits in the GNU/Linux world isn't it? The reason why this doesn't happen is because of something we call "Architecture".
If you (betatesters et al) want Windows to be virus-free like GNU/Linux and other Unix-ish distros ask Microsoft to implement stuff based on the POSIX standard.
