Every time I have talked to IBM guys, they have promised free support and help for anyone who is using DB2 on Linux, either for experimenting or for developemnt. May be you can call them up and see if they can help you.
They have a separate department dealing with Linux initiative and DB2 on Linux at their office at Nariman Point. (I dont have their phone no, unfortunately).

GLUG Meeting on 13th July, 4pm at KReSIT, IIT Campusm, Powai.
Hi,
Honestly I have never used DB2 before so I could be wrong. Hence i leave it to you whether you take this seriously or not.
To me this seems like a version conflict of GLIBC library. since you are saying it worked fine with RedHat Linux 7.2 it seems DB2 needs the older version of this library.
But installing the old glibc/libc library could break your GNU/Linux installation please be warned.
