Mine has only telnet. No SSH. But yes having linux and mtd and jffs allows you to do really nifty things.

Well it has. But only the mfg knows how to use it. Morover under heavy load the modem hangs and requires a cold start. And the crappy internal webpage does not render in FF / Konqueror. Name was Axistech afair.
