AMDK6II500 does seem to have a problem with kernels other than i386 or amdk6. Particularly i686. Distro was woody R0 linux 2.4.18, fs was rieserfs. BF24 (stock kernel with distro) did work correctly though. Mobo was ASUS with ALI chipset. This board also has problems with IDE dma.
