Thanks a bunch. My post wasn't clear about the memory "compatibility" part. So here it is again... I own a p4 with 800MHz FSB. The ideal RAM for this is DDR400 while if we put in a DDR333 then it will slow down the machine because of mismatch between the processor's FSB and the memory's operating frequency.
Similarly, I would like to know what is the relation between AMD's processors and the RAM's frequency. I have a sempron 2200+ which has an FSB of 333MHz and the optimum RAM for it would be DDR333.
