Folks, I have a query. Does the X server do antialiasing? Because whenever I try viewing the ps or pdf files the fonts are horribly rendered. And generally my X looks grubby. Is this a problem with any specific version of X? I have an accelerated (Mach64) server running with 32bit color depth. Also I have seen some GNU/Linux boxes with KDE 2 where the fonts were rendered properly. Is this the doing of KDE? I dont have KDE and run GNOME+Enlightenment/fwm. Also I still havent been able to use the TTF fonts, from the windows partition, in X.
thanks, quasi
