For the newbies, realplayer is the best bet.
It's sad that even on a Free Software platform, proprietary software wins over Free Software because of daft distribution policies.
I know, I know, the end user does not care about Freedom, only about ease of install and use.
Yeps. But check his statement above "For *newbies* ,realplayer is the best bet" He hasn't disregarded other players.
